Daniele Orlando, first violin

Daniele Orlando studied with A. Chumachenco and B. Kuschnir. He debuted as soloist with the Tschaikowsky Violin Concerto under the direction of D. Renzetti, who wrote about him: “I believe without a shadow of a doubt that D. is one of the most important discoveries of the new generation of soloists.”
He has been the protagonist of tours which has included the highest institutional environments (the European Parliament, the Italian House of Representatives), as well as factories and schools and, not to be forgotten, such sacred halls of music as the Berlin Philharmonie. He has received extensive media attention on mainstream national and international radio and television.
He has recorded for labels such as the Deutsche Grammophon, Fuga Libera, Naxos, Tactus, Brilliant Classics and Muso.
Since 2014 he has been the Concertmaster of I Solisti Aquilani. He works as a professor at the “N. Rota” Conservatory in Monopoli.
