Rocco Roggia, violin
Born in Foggia on 15.09.1995
He graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Music ‘San Pietro a Majella’ in Naples with a 10th rating and mention in 2014. At the same institution he completed his second-level studies with a vote of 110, praise and mention in 2017. He continued his studies at the National Academy of Santa Cecilia during the three-year period 2014-2017 under the guidance of Sonig Tchakerian.
He then graduated from the School of Music in Fiesole under the guidance of Lorenza Borrani in 2018.
Accompanied for many years of his training by the guide of the M Felice Cusano.
He constantly enriches his training in numerous seminars and masterclasses with internationally renowned teachers including: Marco Rizzi (Perosi Academy of Biella), Francesco Manara (Violin of Spalla Scala di Milano), Gabriele Pieranunzi (Violin of Shoulder Teatro S.Carlo of Naples), Simone Bernardini (Third Place Berliner Philarmoniker), Salvatore Quaranta, Francesco de Angelis (Violin of Shoulder -Scala of Milan), Daniele Orlando (Violin of Spalla- The Eagle Soloists).
He has performed as a soloist and in chamber music formations at various concert associations such as: Friends of the Music of Lucera, Reate Festival, William Walton Association, Academy of Santa Cecilia, School of Music of Fiesole, Mozart-Italy Association, Aquilani Soloists etc.
He has collaborated with numerous orchestras: Teatro San Carlo( Naples), Fondazione Petruzzelli (Bari), the Soloists Aquilani (Shoulder of Second Violin), Spira Mirabilis, Young Talents Orchestra (Violin of Shoulder), Scarlatti Orchestra of Naples (Violin of Shoulder), Cherubini Orchestra, Hummingbird Ensemble, Orchestra Leonore (Pistoia) and Royal Concertgebow ( Borsista at the Slokar Academy in Lubjana). He has had the privilege of collaborating with internationally renowned directors including: M J. Conlon, M R. Muti, M K. Penderecky, F. Biondi (as The Shoulder of Second Violin), M A.Shaburov (Concertino of the Second Vioilni), M D. Gatti (RCO) and musicians such as Anna Tifu, Giovanni Sollima, Richard Galliano, Ericson Ruiz, Sergey Nakariakov, Fedor Roudin and many others. He has performed in numerous chamber ensembles and chamber orchestras in Italy and abroad including: L’Aquila-Auditorium del Parco (Quintet with piano-Michele Campanella), Rome-Park of Music, Milan-Sala Verdi, Dusserldorf, Cologne, Parliament Europero, Montecitorio, Bratislava-Old Marker Hall, Lubjana-Union Hall, Naples-Teatro Sannazaro, Spezia-Civic Theatre, Kaunas (National Philharmonic Hall).
